Learning at Home

COVID-19 (coronavirus) has changed everyone's lives.  We are creating short, educational videos that highlight Guyana's wildlife and connect to the Ministry of Education, Guyana's Life Science Curriculum so that students and teachers can continue learning while you join the effort to prevent the spread by staying home.

EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS

Featured species, presenter, & topic

In support of students and teachers that are currently home from school due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), we have asked experts on Guyana's flora and fauna to join us in creating short, educational videos that highlight Guyana's amazing biodiversity and their research, while also connecting to life science topics in the national curriculum. Species were selected by each presenter based on their personal experience. Highlighted topics were selected from primary and secondary life science curriculum guides developed by the Ministry of Education, Guyana.  Click on each image below to navigate to the associated video.
